Sir James Smith Community School, Cornwall

Sir James Smith Community School recently contacted NBB in need of a shelter for their outdoor recreation space. After liaising with our site surveyors, it was decided that a bespoke Winterbourne freestanding shelter with guttering would fit the space best. 

To install, freestanding posts were subsurfaced into the ground, and clear 16mm triple wall polycarbonate was used for the roof glazing. The finished shelter measured L15000mmxD8000mmxH2400mm in the colour Umbra Grey - RAL 7022. The shelter was treated with Triplex anti-corrosion multi-layer powder coating to ISO 12944, which guarantees the shelter for 25 years.
