Widewell Primary School, Plymouth

Widewell primary school welcome all and believe everyone matters. Their vision as a school is that it is a place of excellence and innovation, where children’s skills, knowledge and values can grow.

NBB were recently contacted by the school, in need of a shelter to extend a classroom and create an outdoor learning area for use in the spring and summer months.

After working closely with the school and surveying the site, it was decided upon that our Winterbourne Freestanding Shelter would be the best option to suit the environment. The finished project measures H2600 x L4000 x W4000mm and is powder coated in Umbra Grey RAL 7022 to complement the surroundings.

They also chose to add on some 100% recycled plastic picket fencing to act as a perimeter for the learning area. The fencing is completely maintenance free, will never rot, crack, or splinter and will last up to 5 times longer than any timber alternative!
